Las Palmas features all your Mexican food favorites in a family-friendly atmosphere.  With indoor and outdoor dining, takeout and plenty of domestic and Mexican beer, soft drinks and homemade horchata.  Not only is the food delicious, but they have a super friendly staff, and the prices are very reasonable.

A local corner market with a wide snack selection, including vegan and gluten-free choices.  They also offer a diverse menu that’s all made-to-order from their kitchen.  Be sure to try their “best in town breakfast burrito” and don’t forget to bring cash, as it’s the only accepted method of payment. 

 


RIVA FISH HOUSE:  31 Municipal Wharf (0.4 mi) - (831) 429-1223 

Riva’s started out as a fish market and has since become a go-to fish restaurant and bar.  It has been voted both the Best Restaurant and Best Seafood Restaurant in Santa Cruz and offers “something for everyone-a view with flavor” thanks to its prime location on the Wharf. 

 


MAKAI ISLAND KITCHEN:  49A Municipal Wharf (0.5 mi) - (831) 466-9766

Located out of the Wharf, surrounded by water, Makai Island Kitchen & Groggery, is an escape into the world of tiki.  Enjoy their lively, rotating bar and delicious island inspired seafood, steak and pasta dishes at this fully immersive island escape.

Zachary’s Restaurant has been a favorite among locals, students, and visitors alike for breakfast and lunch since 1985.  Their menu is built on an “everything homemade” philosophy from their three styles of house-made bread (oatmeal-molasses, sour white, and dark rye) to their  unique home-fries.  Breakfast specialties include “Mike’s Mess”, one-of-a-kind sourdough pancakes, and daily omelet specials. Burgers served house-made sourdough buns; sandwiches on your choice of our bread; and chilis made from scratch are some of their most popular lunch options.

Located within Lighthouse Field State Beach, directly across from the world class surf break from which it gets its name, Steamer Lane Supply has everything from tasty snacks to coffee and even surf supplies and apparel.  They even feature a doggie menu, water bowl and complimentary treats for your 4 legged travel companion!
